This market leading insurance organisation are seeking an experienced Mental Health Claims Consultant to join their passionate Workers Compensation team. Your new role

  • In your new role you will be responsible for managing the end to end claims process of your own portfolio of Mental Health claims in a deeply empathetic manner.
  • You will be required to ensure that claims are processed and managed efficiently through detailed investigation and effective interpretation of, and adherence to policy.
  • You will be working in a fast-paced environment and your role will include but not be limited to proactively planning hospitalisation needs, assisting with high volumes of calls, dealing with various claims documents, liaising with Injury Management Specialists to deliver claims to finalisation and overall provide and exceptional level of customer service.
  • You will be required to make solve complex and sensitive problems - using a tailored method for each case to do so.

What you'll need to succeed

  • As the successful applicant, you will have a background in Allied health.
  • You will have extensive experience in end to end Case Management within Workers Compensation or Psychological/ Mental Health claims.
  • You will demonstrate a strong ability to handle complex and sensitive situations with an empathetic and solutions orientated approach.
  • This role will require you to be extremely resilient and patient in order to achieve sustainable outcomes. You will have genuine passion for helping others, alongside strong customer service and communication skills. Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate advanced conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
