Why This Role? 

Managing a portfolio of life insurance claims, you will be required to build professional relationships with claimants, providing a focus on the importance of rehabilitation when applicable. Day to day, you will: 

  • Working in partnership with members, employers, and healthcare professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for all involved.
  • Claims Managers have regular conversations with all parties to fully understand the capabilities of each member and develop a tailored plan of action
  • Assess and make recommendations on claims decision and outcomes

 

As you learn the claim process and policies, you will manage your own portfolio of claims from lodgement to settlement.

Your Background 

As these are temporary roles, you are immediately available and willing to commit to a short or long term temporary assignment. In addition to this you have: 

  • Experience within or knowledge of insurance and/or superannuation 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Positive and proactive attitude to change 
  • An empathetic disposition, with an understanding of the importance of commercial decisions 
  • Proven success within a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to manage and prioritise tasks
