We are currently recruiting for an experienced Workers Compensation professional to join our team of Case Managers.
Depending on your level of experience, the role provides an opportunity for you to work either at the front end of our portfolio or be part of a tail team.
Within this role, you will provide claims management for your client portfolio, drawing on your exceptional customer service and decision-making skills to achieve desired outcomes.
The opportunity
- Acting as the key point of contact for stakeholders, including injured workers, their employers, GPs and other medical professionals
- The role includes adhering to set timeframes and ensuring compliance with all legislative codes and company policies
- The QBE Case Management model involves face to face contact with stakeholders through case conferencing, claims reviews and onsite visits
- Conducting Case Reviews for each case and planning, developing and executing related strategies
- Effectively setting expectations and educating both workers and employers on obligation, ensuring responsible financial claims management of your portfolio
What does success look like?
- Professional experience in Workers Compensation in either an insurance or employer based organisation is desired but not essential
- You will enjoy managing challenging and sensitive situations to a satisfying outcome
- Qualifications or experience within Allied Health (highly desirable, but not required)
- A high degree of influencing skill partnered with strong written and verbal communication skills
- You will demonstrate an empathetic and supportive attitude
- Developed time management skills with the ability to work in a high pressure environment
- You have a flexible attitude and a motivated, service-orientated approach that allows you to deliver superior results to your clients and deal with difficult customers confidently and empathetically.
