Mona does events like no other and we're excited to offer two casual opportunities working with our amazing Functions Team as Functions Floor Supervisors.
Working amongst Mona's unique venues the Functions Floor Supervisor will be responsible for the on-the-day delivery of the exceptional, creative and bespoke events that Mona is known for. This key role in the Functions Team is the person on the ground, understanding the individual intricacies of each event and ensuring that everything runs according to plan. Working within the broader Functions team you'll be looking for ways we can do things better and be willing to provide constructive feedback after the event. This is a customer-driven role and is focused on ensuring our guests receive the highest quality of service.
The Gig:
- Delivery of functions under the guidance of the Function Coordinators
- Supervise, guide and train staff to perform to their best, enabling them to deliver exceptional quality experiences
- Get hands-on during functions setting up and packing down
- Raise and maintain consistent standards of function presentation, service, image, and operations within the Business Unit
- Provide regular post-event constructive feedback and implement solutions with the approval of the Function Coordinators
- Deliver and drive standards and experiences to surpass guest expectations
- Assist the Function Coordinators with solutions or initiatives streamline all practices, creating efficiency and improving business without impacting quality
The You:
- Three years hospitality experience
- Ability to show initiative and self-drive to get the job done
- Driven by customer service & guest experience, with the ability to deliver a dignified VIP guest interaction
- Experience supervising staff and passionate about achieving team goals
- High level communication skills with ability to interact and collaborate with all business units (F&B, museum FOH & BOH staff, Curators, etc)
- Passionate about Food and Beverage
