Our vision is to be recognised as regional Australia's strongest member-owned golf organisation. To support this vision, we are now seeking an experienced Duty Manager to manage the operations of the Club house including bars, bistro, functions and gaming areas. Reporting directly to the Director of Clubhouse Operations, you will hold a key role within the management team, overseeing daily operations. 

 

To be successful you will be a food and beverage super star, someone who has their finger on the pulse of what is happening in the hospitality sector.

 

The Club is spending $5.5 million on upgrading the Club house which will deliver three new bars, a new dining area, new indoor and outdoor gaming and TAB. NOW is great time to join this team and be part of the exciting changes!

 

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • A sound understanding of all areas of licensed club operations including; gaming, beverage, food, functions & regulatory compliance including WHS
  • Current accredited NSW RSA/RCG certificates essential
  • High volume food & beverage experience with a commitment to exceptional customer service standards
  • Have initiative and be willing to take responsibility
  • Be able to lead and manage people
  • Previous Managerial experience
  • A strong hands on approach with excellent time management skills
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster including nights, days & weekends
  • Exemplary cash handing skills with a focus on complete daily venue banking

Responsibilities for this role will include, but not limited to:

  • Day to day coordination of the club;
  • Open/Close of the Club premises (including safe balancing);
  • Preparing club banking
  • Supervision of staff including; training, coaching, performance feedback
  • Contributes ideas for long term planning, including the areas of promotions and marketing
  • Provide Bar, Bistro, Keno, TAB & gaming machine service
  • Complete cellar knowledge
  • Ensure the smooth running of functions with a focus on RSA compliance
