Pretty Boy is an Italian American style steakhouse. Playing on the mafia history of the QVM and broader Melbourne, it showcases Victorian produce with a unique and tongue in cheek flair.
Pretty Boy Bar is a clever abbreviation of the Italian Steak House concept offering an exclusively Victorian wine list, Negroni and Spritz bar and instagrammable cocktails - Pretty Boy’s drinks compliment the deli style food offering with art deco flair.
Goldie Asian Canteen + Brews celebrates the morning till night Yum Cha + Asian BBQ diner, commonly found on the street corners of Hong Kong and revisits the tea house rituals of ‘coming together’.
MISSION
We are seeking a passionate and creative individual who is able to bring out the best in their team to deliver memorable dining experiences for our guests.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Assume overall leadership and responsibility for the cost effective management of the kitchen team to maximise Food and Beverage profitability.
- Design and implement menus that will excite our guests
- Oversee daily food preparation and production to the highest standards
- Operate a safe, efficient kitchen within budgetary guidelines.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in a similar role is required, ideally in a multi-outlet environment.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, cost and deliver innovative menus whilst providing hands-on leadership.
- Flexible to work early mornings, late nights and weekends.
- Full working rights in Australia.
