About the company

We are X Cargo. Dubbed 'Brisbane's most instagrammable venue' X Cargo is Brisbane's newest and most exciting development, set in the heartbeat of the entertainment district - Fortitude Valley.  Only steps away from the James Street precinct,  X Cargo is a unique multi-level entertainment venue made from shipping containers.  This architecturally designed space has been built with multi-purpose areas in mind.  Featuring individually designed bars, indoor/outdoor dining and an open-air beer garden, the venue has the potential for huge events and functions.  With key dates already booked out in the calendar, we are looking for the right person to hit the ground running.  

Applicants Must Have

• A creative and confident cooking style with an emphasis on quality and presentation
• Have previous experience in a similar role or position, within a similar or same sized venue
• Be a hands on, hard working member, willing to be a part of the team
• Have excellent time management, communication and organisational skills
• Good personal presentation
• Experience in A la Carte cooking is essential
• Experience in functions is essential
• Demonstrate an ability and a passion for delivering and staying on trend with high quality food
