Dowsing Group requires a Project Engineer who has at least 4 years recent experience working with or subcontracting to Tier 1 contractors on civil / road construction projects.

KEY DUTIES

• Liaising between site supervisors, client representatives and subcontractors.
• Management of subcontractors on minor works projects;
• Monitoring and updating construction programs;
• Monitoring of HSEQ obligations and maintaining QA records for projects;
• Creating and maintaining ITPs;
• Collating project cost information;

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

To be considered for this role, the following is essential:

• Relevant degree qualification;
• At least 3 years of experience since graduation;
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines;
• Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with all stakeholders, and to lead and influence people;
• C class drivers licence.

HIGHLY DESIRED

• Experience on Main Roads WA projects.
• Flexibility to travel to remote work sites.
• Developed commercial acumen and ability to interpret and apply major works contracts, and supply agreements (including review of specifications).
