We are pleased to be working with our client to safely deliver support of the Telecommunications Systems across multiple oil & gas facilities.
The successful applicant will have at least 10 years post graduate engineering experience with a minimum of 5 years in the oil & gas industry. Your background will cover the design, installation, maintenance and project management of Telecoms system.
The role will be based in our client’s CBD office with some occasional travel required. Expected duration is 6 months with potential for extension.
Responsibilities
- Detailed designs for system upgrades, modifications and new system installations;
- Factory Acceptance Testing and System commissioning
- Project management of system upgrades, modifications and new system installations;
- Maintenance and support documentation development
- Troubleshooting of system faults, coordination of fault rectification activities; and
- Provide technical support for site-based technicians.
Education and Skills
- Bachelor of Communications/Electronic Engineering;
- Excellent written communication skills; and
- Project Management skills would be an advantage.
Experience required in several of the following systems:
- CCTV
- PAGA
- Navigation RADAR
- TETRA Radio
- Security Access Control
- LAN/WAN
- Structured cabling
- VSAT
