This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Coordinator to join our client’s team on a five month contract, with a view to extension.
This role requires the successful candidate to oversee the maintenance and upgrade of an aged care facility, located in the Newcastle area. The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Engineering Manager and Asset services in work flow coordination and project work.
The responsibilities of the Project Coordinator are as follows:
- Overseeing subcontractors on site
- Conducting a blend of facilities maintenance and project work
- Ensuring staff compliance to safe working practices
- Travel between different sites
Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of two years’ experience working in a Facilities Maintenance background, utilising Microsoft software packages is essential.
- A candidate with strong communication skills and experience leading a team is desired.
Applicants with a background in Project Management and Practices will be highly regarded.
