CS Logistic Solutions is a market leader in supply chain solutions to Australia's most eminent retail companies. Due to rapid growth there exists an opportunity to join our highly skilled and exceptional team in Banksmeadow.

 

Reporting directly to the Sydney Sales Manager your duties will include supporting in  and maintaining a portfolio of existing clients, as well as supporting in new tenders and business growth.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as an eye for detail and a positive "can do" attitude.

You will also need to have basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly excel and PowerPoint and a minimum 2 years' experience in either freight forwarding or a retail logistics background.

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Internal Account Management, maintaining and servicing a portfolio of clients
  • Customer interaction via email/phone on a daily basis
  • Order Management and Customer support
  • Rates maintenance, creating quotations and costings for clients
  • Identifying potential areas of revenue & savings
  • Assist with RFQ/Tender Responses
  • Supply pricing for both internal and external RFPs
  • Liaising with Origin Offices and Global Account

Skills and experience

The successful applicant will have:

  • Intermediate to Advanced excel and powerpoint skills, being able to build graphs and tables for presentation to customers
  • Basic supply chain experience and knowledge either from freight forwarder or retailer background
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and via email   
  • Attention to detail, be a quick learner and target focused individual

Cargowise experience preferred but not essential
