Established in 2000, we are passionate about providing flexible, tailored financial solutions to primary and post-farmgate producers and suppliers, ranging from small family farming enterprises to large multinational operations, across 111 regional locations.

The role:

You will grow and manage a portfolio with generous lending and deposits. This set is predominantly pre-farmgate customers with a focus on beef and grazing.  Roma is made up of 7 Agribusiness Managers/SAM supported by 4 Agribusiness Analysts.

Using your strong business development and relationship management skills, you will provide financial advisory services, fully integrated financial solutions and risk management for customers. You will ensure success through understanding our client's unique businesses, communicating effectively, making timely decisions, utilising your strong commercial acumen and driving innovation and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Generate business growth opportunities through existing and prospect customer relationships
• Utilise your networks within pre-farmgate and post-farmgate local markets
  • Maintain and enhance the credit risk profile and profitability of the portfolio
• Develop and improve professional excellence through management of individual and team performance
• Coach support staff

Experience:

• Strong business development and relationship management skills
• Passion and understanding of agribusiness and farm management practices
• Solid experience as a professional banker
• Experience in credit management/assessment
• Relevant tertiary qualifications are highly regarded
