We are looking for an experienced leader to join our International Money Movement division.

The Role  

As the Associate Director, Payment Operations (APAC) you will provide a single point of contact and governance for the oversight of client funds financial control and payment activities within the APAC region.  

Reporting to the Vice-President International Money Movement, your key responsibilities include:-

  • Strategic Planning, Delivery and Execution;

  • Relationship Management and Service Excellence;

  • Leadership, and

  • Project Management and Governance.

Key to your success in this role will be your ability to form and maintain key relationships with external financial partners, Country Service and Finance management, create internal service level agreements, and standardise financial control functions across the geographic landscape.

This role is based in our Mulgrave Head Office and will be responsible for a team of 10. International travel will be required.

About You

To be considered for this rewarding role, you will have:-

  • Minimum ten (10) years demonstrated experience at management level within a global matrix organisation, specifically within the areas of Finance, Financial Management or an ERP environment.

  • Experience working in a Human Capital Management (HCM) or similar Financial Services domain.

  • Knowledge of global banking rules (eg APCA, SBI payment rules).

  • Ability to communicate effectively to impact and influence senior leaders and internal/external clients.

  • Proven leadership capabilities. Demonstrate ability to be a strong coach, collaborator, team player as well as an individual contributor.

  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal) skills.

  • Tertiary qualifications within Finance, Business, Economics or IT.

  • MBA qualification preferred.

  • Financial Industry Services courses / designations preferred (CA, ACCA, CIMA)
