Our Client

Our client is a boutique, award winning Financial Planning practice located on the Sunshine Coast.  We are looking for a Client Service Manager to assist their successful financial planning team.

This business prides themselves on establishing and maintaining long term relationships and focuses on providing customised strategic advice to each of their individual clients.

Clients benefit from the integration of the various skills in the firm to achieve optimum outcomes in areas such as SMSF, retirement, superannuation, wealth creation, retirement planning, risk and lending.  This business has built its client base and reputation

The Role

Reporting to the Principal, the main focus of this role is to provide Client Service support to the financial planning team and run and maintain the office.

The role is looking for someone with good experience and understanding working within Financial Planning, someone who is prepared to go the extra mile without being asked, someone who is a solid team player and believes that our client are the owners of the business.

We are looking for someone who can connect well with clients either face to face or via the phone, has a solid understanding of Financial Planning and is happy to do whatever is necessary to get the job done.

To be successful in this role you will need to have had experience in (but are not limited to):

  • Implementation process of client applications
  • Booking appointments and liaising with the client in a professional and polished manner
  • Preparing quotes for the planning team when required for Risk and Super
  • Have a solid understanding the Super and Pension in order to be able to support the team with your technical knowledge
  • Liaising with the fund managers and ensuring that all strategies have been put in place correctly
  • Meet and greet clients and generally make them feel welcome within the business
  • Support the Adviser in the development of strategies;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers;
  • Maintain the office in a polished manner
  • an do whatever else needs to be done at the time in order to keep the office ticking along harmoniously.

About You

Ideally you will be working currently within the Financial Planning industry as a Client Service Manager and wants a career as a Senior Client Service Manager or wants to step up into planning in the future.

You will have a strong attention to detail, a genuine interest in wealth creation, investments and holistic financial planning.  You will be well organised, well groomed with excellent communication both verbal and written.  You need to have the ability to connect with the clients, and really take a genuine interest in  their wellbeing.

In addition you will need to possess the following skills:

  • RG146 compliant is preferred but not essential
  • At least 2 years experience as a Client Service Manager;
  • Ability to demonstrate strong technical knowledge;
  • COIN experience is preferred but not essential
  • Outstanding communication skills;
  • Well versed in Microsoft applications; and
  • An excellent team player
