An exciting position has become available to work within this leading Financial Services organization; this is a chance to apply your expert technical abilities and work as a business partner for a major department within the Analytics hub. In conjunction with your strong communication skills and ability to drive valuable insights, you will have a proven track record of creative problem solving and strong negotiation and influencing skills.

This role suits a proactive and independent individual that enjoys working with complex data sets in large volumes and creating insights packs delivering on your findings to solve complex business problems. You will also have a strong understanding of analytics and how this can be implemented in a customer centric manner.

Core Responsibilities:

• Deep dive analysis to provide actionable insights and data-driven decision making
• Translate business requirements into analytical tasks across customer, product, marketing and campaign analytics
• Perform in depth advanced analytics and statistical techniques to solving business issues, including creating and improving on existing models
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across greater business group

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree qualified in Statistics, Mathematics or Analytics related field; need to have completed a Statistics course within degree.
• SQL, SAS and Teradata are required
• Modelling experience using tools such as R, Python is highly beneficial
• Experience working with large unstructured data bases
• Preferred candidates will have experience in Banking or Financial Services
