Smooth Retirement is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual with experience in financial planning, mortgages and general credit. The ideal candidate is keenly interested in technology and particularly Robo Advice, embraces a challenge and is ready to break away from the conventions and culture of the corporate workplace and financial services sector.
Smooth Retirement is a new FinTech company created to initially deliver a ground-breaking online platform that is set to disrupt financial planning in Australia and then, around the world. Headquartered in Perth, Smooth Retirement is made up of a team of experienced and skilled professionals from a diverse range of backgrounds including financial planning, senior management, banking, superannuation, retirement planning, insurance, aviation, marketing, communications, media, retail and agriculture. We operate in a high-energy, exciting and highly collaborative workplace.
The role of Manager Technical & Financial Services will involve working closely with the our team on the evolution of Smooth Retirement’s innovation, through it’s stages of development, release, and ongoing review and service. It also includes the establishment and team leadership of our client service hub and its staff. It is a varied and complex role and we are seeking someone with the ability to think creatively, innovate and apply their technical skills and experience to refine our processes.
The role will suit a confident and ambitious individual who understands that Robo Advice is the future and is keen to be a part of advancing its application to the financial services sector.
Relevant qualifications include a Diploma in Financial Planning or studying for one, experience in financial planning and/or para planning, residential credit and mortgage broking. Superior skills in information technology is highly desirable. A base salary and profit share will be negotiated with the right applicant along with performance-based shares to ensure we attract and retain the best person.
