The role:
As a senior Agribusiness Manager you will be part of an existing team of 7 (4 Managers and 3 Analysts), and will manage a complex and diverse portfolio including mixed cropping, beef and wine industries, with both pre-farmgate and post-farmgate customers. Files will generally be within the $5M – 20M range and the potential to build your own networks and generate new to bank opportunities will be key to your success in this role.
With the ability to promote financial products within the agricultural industry, you will:
- Directly manage a complex portfolio of key clients and influencers
- Implement and monitor strategic business plans
- Ensure success through understanding our client's unique businesses
- Utilise your networks within pre-farmgate and post-farmgate local markets
- Maintain and enhance the credit risk profile and profitability of the portfolio
- Coach and support the team to ensure efficient high quality customer service
Ideally tertiary qualified with an agriculture or business-related discipline, your experience as a Commercial or Agribusiness Manager with a comprehensive understanding of business/commercial and farm management practices will ensure your success in managing and growing this active portfolio of agribusiness clients.
