Your new company
This international Bank are looking to strengthen their Risk & Compliance divisions, and have a number of positions available based in their modern Sydney CBD offices. The Bank are a market-leading provider of Financial Services and have a great reputation for looking after their staff. Currently, they are looking to appoint a Senior Manager to lead their Credit Policy Team, who look after their Retail Banking Lending portfolio.
Your new role
As the Senior Manager for Credit Policy, your role will revolve around helping to build and maintain the Bank’s policy and business rule framework to ensure prudent and effective lending. You will manage a small team of Credit Risk professionals, working collaboratively with them to achieve the overall home buying strategy.
Your role will involve:
- Engaging with frontline, decisioning, and regulatory stakeholders to review, and where appropriate, re-write home lending policy.
- Updating and refining business rules to ensure staff can effectively meet policy frameworks.
- Working with Monitoring teams to ensure policy and business rules are followed, and regulatory reporting is accurate
What you'll need to succeed
As the successful applicant, you will have experience in a similar role previously, preferably within a large financial institution. You will have experience in people management, strong analytical and problem solving skills and a high attention to detail. Experience in credit risk management is essential and experience across home loans would be highly beneficial. Strong communication skills are also essential in this role.
