Drive real change, in a role that will see you innovating and transforming the way we do things.

As a highly motivated business analyst with 1-2 years’ experience, you’ll join our team in Sydney to work with local and global business and technology teams to support the delivery of key projects using digital technologies.

You will join an exciting and driven team that is focused on delivering workflow automation solutions (including robotic automation) using agile (SCRUM) methodology to help Market Operations digitise and automate their processes. You will also help identify opportunities to broaden the team’s capability to use other innovative solutions.

In this role, you will interface with teams in Market Operations and other stakeholders, to elicit and document business requirements. In addition, you’ll undertake analysis and contribute to the design of end-to-end business processes whilst working closely with technology teams to communicate and clarify requirements whilst ensuring solutions meet the business objectives.

You will support change management activities for projects and impacted stakeholders, working with teams in Market Operations on process improvement initiatives – to identify, analyse, prioritise and implement business process improvements and track benefits realised.

Finally, you will contribute to, and assist the user acceptance testing phases of projects whilst ensuring adherence to the Project governance framework. You’ll also assist in the management of issues effectively and efficiently, providing pragmatic solutions with your internal stakeholders.

You will have completed a relevant degree and have 1 to 2 years’ experience in a business analyst role including requirements elicitation and definition, leading workshops, process mapping, scope definition, change management, testing, implementation and user training. Experience of working on projects in investment banking operations / back-office is desirable as is experience with Business Process Management systems desirable.

Other desirable attributes include creative thinking and passion for innovation, a learning mindset and flexibility with responsibilities within a project team, proven ability to work independently and proactively, ability to work effectively with a range of different stakeholders, effectively able to adapt to changing priorities, and finally and ability to deliver within risk frameworks.
