Your new company
A large company that works within the construction sector, based in western Melbourne is looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join their friendly team.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager in a small, collaborative team, you will be responsible for the execution of end to end payroll covering: starters, finishers, calculation of leave and tax, month end processing and reconciliation's, as well as servicing ongoing payroll queries and managing internal stakeholder relationships. You will have to manage your own portfolio and the payroll will be processed on a fortnightly basis for both casual and permanent employees
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience processing end to end payroll
- Strong, efficient, accurate data entry skills
- An ability to effectively and articulately communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Previous exposure to Chris 21 or a similar software package
- Intermediate to Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
- Exposure to salary packaging would be advantageous
- Immediate availability or short notice is required
