The Company
Robert Half is working with an internationally listed services firm who are a leading supplier of niche technical equipment used primarily within mining and oil industries. Their client base includes some of the world’s largest companies and they are continuing to grow in the region, having secured more recent contracts in Perth and Queensland. Due to their continued grow, we are looking for a management accountant to join their Perth based team.
The Role
This management accountant role is based in their Osbourne park office and will report directly into the CFO. The role will primarily be responsible for financial management including budget, forecasting and variance analysis. Applying your cost accounting experience and data interrogation techniques or possessing the ability to learn these principals quickly, you will get involved in a wide range of project initiatives and add value across operational areas of the business and engage stakeholders in all parts of the business.
The Profile
As the successful Management Accountant, you would ideally be a CA, CPA or CIMA qualified accountant with ideally with management accounting experience within the mining or oil services sector. The role will build strong relationships with non finance professionals based in Perth and the UK, as such it is essential that you will have a strong communication and presentational skills as well as the ability to quickly build relationships with key stakeholders.
