An outstanding opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join our expanding three partner accountancy practice centrally located near Malvern station. We boast a friendly and young team environment with excellent infrastructure and processes enabling us to provide a high level of service to our clients.
The position would ideally suit a person with proven experience in tax compliance and business services. Experience with self-managed superannuation funds is advantageous. A minimum of five year's full-time experience in the profession, together with CPA/CA certification are essential.
The role provides significant opportunities to further develop your experience in the areas of accounting, taxation and superannuation. As a senior you will be responsible for completing all types of tax returns and taking a file from start to finish; BAS, FBT, CGT and Div. 7A issues. Reporting to a technically strong and highly personable Manager, you will join an established business services team and work with some larger, complex clients. As you begin to develop further within the firm you will take on advisory work for your own client portfolio.

The successful applicant must see themselves as the financial doctor of clients' accounts; possessing decision-making, strategic, account management, negotiation, exceptional attention to detail and communication skills. They need to be dynamic, open and receptive to change as well as able to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Highly developed computer skills are essential, with experience in MYOB AE, BGL and MS Office Suite. Experience in a paperless office is also advantageous.
Salary negotiable, based on experience; in addition, discretionary individual performance based bonuses are paid.
