The Organisation

Our Company is a market player in the Domestic Residential Building Industry located in the North-West who has gone from strength to strength through increased brand awareness.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

•Managing month end process

•Monthly financial reporting

•Reviewing inputs to financial information for accuracy

•Complete accounting tasks i.e. accruals and reporting, wage journals, sales commissions calculations

•Performing all bank and credit cards reconciliations

•Management of Accounts receivable – Raise clients invoices, and strict adherence to the collection process

•Assist with data entry of Accounts payable

•Ensure compliance of statutory accounts with all relevant accounting standards and legislative requirements

•Development and implement best practice financial policies and procedures ensuring they align with company policies

•Maintain open communication and ensure active collaboration across all departments of the Company

•Assist Company external auditors when required

Skills and Experience

•Tertiary qualified in an accounting or business degree

•Aspirations to completed or be part way through your CA/CPA

•1-3 years professional accounting experience in a Residential Housing Builder business is preferred however not a pre-requisite

•Extensive knowledge of accounting standards

•Proficient experience using MS Excel

•Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to demonstrate initiative and have good attention to details are essential.
