With the focus on development, coupled with your desire to climb the corporate ladder, you are set up for a Manager role by 2021. Once at this level, you can look forward to effectively establishing wholesome relationships with clients and running your own portfolio of fees. You will enjoy autonomy and will have your own team at your disposal.

60% of the role is advisory which includes things like modelling; business improvement and restructuring; and asset protection and succession planning.  This component of the role is set to grow as compliance is gradually sent offshore.

What will set you apart from the competition for the future is responsibility of looking after your own portfolio. Initially you will work closely with the Partner and he will start to allocate clients. You will become the main point of contact. This opportunity is endless; it is up to you how much you want to do. You will be rewarded for any further business development you put your time into.
