Description
This is a global role where you will be working with multiple stakeholders internationally. As part of a dynamic team, you will work together to consolidate the group’s global results to make critical analysis and recommendations to improve the group’s business performance.
You will spend time delving deep into the data to identify opportunities and weaknesses and translate that into meaningful reports for senior operational managers to support key strategic decisions.
Reporting to the Group Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, the key duties for this role will include:
- Develop robust budgeting and forecasting models;
- Present to senior leaders and work with multiple corporate functions;
- In-depth analysis of business performance across multiple countries/regions;
- Interpret results to provide strong commercial insights to drive key strategic decisions;
- Ad hoc financial modelling, business case reviews and tasks as required.
Profile
The ideal candidate will be degree-qualified (Commerce or related) and has had prior experience in a similar role within a large commercial environment. You are a proactive individual and a lateral thinker who enjoys challenging assumptions and solving problems.
You will work well both independently and within a dynamic team. Ideally, you will have had exposure to various ERP systems, possess Advanced Excel skills and can engage with stakeholders across all levels. An excellent eye for detail is crucial as is the ability to build strong business relationships. You will also be CA/CPA/CIMA qualified or working towards.
Finally, any prior experience with reporting tools like Power BI / Tableau / QlikView will be highly beneficial as well as candidates with a Big 4 Corporate Finance background.
