Norton Gold Fields Limited is seeking a highly motivated and disciplined Payroll and HR Officer to assist our HR team in building HR capability across the organisation.
The incumbent will be responsible for providing payroll function and will deliver day-to-day operational HR admin support across Norton Paddington operations.
Candidates will demonstrate the Norton Values of Zero Harm, Teamwork, Innovation, Performance Driven, and Efficiency during your daily work.
Key Duties / Tasks for this Position:
The role will support the HR Team in all aspect of HR functions, compliance and programs and will actively coordinate programs including:
- Administration of Payroll
- Recruitment, Attraction and Retention Strategies
- HR Policy and Procedural Maintenance
- Performance Management (support and admin)
- Employee record and qualification management
The ideal applicant will have:
- HR and Accounting experience preferred
- Minimum 3 years payroll experience for mining industry
- Must have broad understanding of employee confidentiality requirements and employee relations
- Proficient with Pronto Accounting Software
- Must have sound administration and organisation skills and ability to build rapport quickly and easily.
- Excellent teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current unrestricted WA C class licence
