About our client:
This ASX-listed financial services institution is known for its high performance culture and long term career advancement opportunities. Due to an internal promotion, the firm is now seeking a high calibre, commercially minded FP&A professional to join the finance team in Sydney’s CBD.
The role:
Managing a team of two Managers and working closely with the divisional CFO and Product Executive Leadership team, this high-profile role will see you provide insightful reporting and analysis to assist with key business decisions. Specifically you will:
- Work closely with the GMs in relation to planning and forecasting of expenses and projects
- Oversee the provision of high quality performance and management reporting, undertaking deep dive analysis
- Partner with the Product management teams, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to assist with key decisions and drive business performance
- Work to ensure project resources are maximised
- Provide oversight and guidance in relation to the negotiation of complex contracts
- Continuously evolve reporting, ensuring comprehensive analysis is provided for key stakeholders
- Identify and drive process improvements across the team and wider finance
- Undertake ad-hoc reporting and analysis and take part in ad-hoc projects (including group-wide transformation initiatives), as required
About you:
Pro-active with a high degree of commercial acumen and a strong customer service focus, you will be able to effectively liaise with, and influence, senior stakeholders across finance and the wider business. You will have relevant FP&A experience gained in a large and complex environment (FS experience preferred although not essential), and previous commercial finance/decision support experience will be highly regarded. Those looking to make their first move out of professional services will also be considered. CA/CPA/MBA qualifications are essential and previous staff management experience strongly preferred.
