My client is a rapidly growing manufacturing business headquartered here in Melbourne's East. Due to their recent growth they are looking to add an experienced Company Accountant to their head office team. With a very hands on culture they are looking for someone to match. The close knit office offers a supportive environment which will see the successful candidate being quickly brought into the fold.

Description

In this very hands on role you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of monthly and annual accounts
• Preparation of monthly general ledger reconciliations
• Accounting aspects related to inventory, including inventory processing
• Preparation of annual statutory accounts
• Manage day to day cash flow requirements
• Maintain business partnerships with operational teams to aid process improvement
• Budget management and cash flow forecasting and management
• Provide cost control and financial performance reporting to senior management

Profile

As the successful candidate you will be an experienced CA/CPA qualified accountant. You will be willing to get involved in everything from Accounts Payable and Receivable through to monthly reporting and cash flow management.

You will be a dynamic individual with outstanding communications skills. You will have the ability to manage everything Finance for a growing business and really be passionate about owning and driving the finance function of the business.
