The Business

Our client is an up and coming industry leader in the healthcare sector who are growing at an impressive rate. Numerous successful acquisitions have motivated the business to require the skills of a Senior Financial Accountant to lead their finance team. 

The Role

Reporting to the FM, you will be responsible for the usual month end duties, balance sheet recs, consolidations, year-end statements, GL reconciliations and assisting in preparation of tax work (BAS, GST, FBT etc). You will also be involved in a variety of projects including a system implementation, process improvements and integrating newly acquired businesses into the group's reporting.

Your keen eye for improving processes and increasing efficiencies will be put to good use, as will your savvy system skills, strong Excel skills and your ability to build relationships across the business.

Skills & Experience

• CPA/CA qualifications
• Proven financial reporting skills
• "Big 4' training advantageous
• High degree of commercial acumen
• Exposure to the Healthcare industry advantageous
• Proven leadership skills
• Passion for improving processes and increasing efficiencies
• Excellent communication skills
