This position presents an excellent opportunity for an individual that is seeking their next step in there career. It will be best suited to a candidate that has 6-10 years experience within commerce looking for a well-rounded finance management role.
Client Details
Our client are a well established Mining & Oil & Gas services business that has long standing relationships with Tier 1 & 2 Operators. They are privately owned and are headquartered in Europe with their Regional Head Office being based here in WA. They have an excellent track record in retaining their staff and always encourage further movement within the company.
Description
The key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
- Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries
- Provided detailed analysis and commentary on monthly financials
- Ensure all compliance with the ATO - BAS, FBT & Payroll Tax
- Oversee all debtors and credits and take ownership and solve high-level issues
- Liaise with PM's and operational staff to assist in budgeting and forecasting process
- Reviewing contracts and working with the general management team around costings
- Managing an accounts team
Profile
The successful candidate will be a CA/CPA qualified individual with at least 6 years experience working within a commercial environment. They will need to operate in a collaborative manner and be ready to get involved in a very hands-on management role. It is important that you have an good understanding on IFRS principles as well as the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders within the business.
