The Offer

We are offering an opportunity for a motivated independent contractor to sell our award winning primary school products in a territory that spans Newcastle, northern NSW and as far north as the Queensland border.  The role would suit an ambitious sales person who wants to operate as an independent contractor with the support of an established business with an outstanding reputation within their market space.

What's Involved?

• Maintaining and increasing Macmillan Education's market share within your designated territory
• Engaging and collaborating with primary schools to identify where Macmillan Education resources can provide solutions to their resourcing needs
• Using your presentation skills to clearly and effectively demonstrate and train teachers in the use of Macmillan Education's digital products
• Complete succinct sales reports and document all customer contact information for sales and customer analysis
• Engage with Macmillan Education to keep your knowledge of our products up to date.

The company will fund your travel to attend interstate conferences which occur once or twice each year.  

You will need the following:

• ABN
• Blue Card (Working With Children Check)
• Your own tools of trade; laptop, mobile phone, internet connectivity, and transport
• Public Liability Insurance

Successful contractors will have a professional and positive outlook, excellent planning and prioritising skills and the ability to develop strong client relationships.  A background in the education industry would be advantageous. This is a commission only based role with generous incentives.
