Position title: Sales Training Manager (Sales training, events, social media comms manager – internally known as ANZ Market Manager)

Purpose: An in-Country Sales Training Manager that is highly motivated, autonomous, a self-starter who has a Presenter focused mindset, and who creates and delivers online and offline trainings, creates and coordinates events, manages and monitors social media channels, develops a strong understanding of the Presenter business, the opportunities and challenges, is a champion of the Presenter channel and an effective all round communicator.

Reporting to the Market VP, this position is based in the local market, working from a home office; and can be based anywhere in AU or NZ.

Primary Responsibilities:

YOUNIQUE INDEPENDENT PRESENTERS

  • Train, motivate and engage Presenters which includes using the existing training at Corporate as well as creating new local programmes.
  • Communicate with Presenters in-market at all levels to strategise on market initiatives and share relevant company updates and promotions.
  • Ensure understanding of daily Corporate announcements are clear and understood, and assist in building strong action plans
  • Establish strong working relationships with Presenters via social media, regular phone calls, zoom (one on one and/or group) meetings, face to face meetings and attendance at Presenter led training events

EVENTS

  • Plan, manage and organise all aspects of in-market Corporate Presenter Events together with the Market VP (Empower YOU, leadership meetings, Anniversary events, opportunity events etc.) – working with the Events team from Home Office and Market VP.
  • Representing the market, participate in and engage with Presenters, meaning some in-market (regional) and potential international travel will be required.

SOCIAL MEDIA, COMMUNICATION & CONTENT

  • Manage Corporate social media platforms, - namely Facebook and Instagram, engaging via FB LIVE videos, responding to threads and direct messages, Presenter recognition, managing positivity and overseeing content on the local Corporate Instagram account.
  • Design and execute multi-platform social media communication and content plan with Market VP.
  • Design and execute regional customer comms including regular newsletter with Market VP.
  • Oversee brand communications – social media, EDMs, newsletters, etc
  • Immerse in Presenter social media discussion topics, questions and issues gathered (FB, Instagram, Messenger, etc.)
  • Ensure the brand tone of voice is consistent across all communications and content
  • Responsible for suggesting market strategy (promotions, recognition, training, communication, events, content etc.) to the VP Market Rep who reports.

INTERFACE BETWEEN PRESENTERS AND CORPORATE

  • Understand the sales channel (Younique Independent Presenters), through ongoing communication on issues impacting the market, and propose corresponding actions to be carried out locally.
  • Collaborate and build effective working relationships with cross-functional teams at Home Office, i.e., Marketing, Sales, Events, Recognition, Supply, Operations, Customer Care/Support etc.
  • Final review and sign-off of all international market assets, including web site, social media, videos, newsletters.
  • Provide input into global planning (communication, promotion, recognition & rewards, kudos, training topics, pricing, etc.).
  • Uphold the company values and strive to achieve the company vision
  • Be a true team player and champion of the company culture

KPIs

  • Review and analyse KPIs for the market and make suggestions to market VP in conjunction with the market strategy.
  • Accomplish market KPI targets specified by Market VP.

KEY COMPETENCIES

You’ve gained a minimum of the below experience/skills:

  • At least 5 years network marketing experience, sales-facing. Will only consider those from other industries with blend of work experience in marketing, sales, training, communications, content and/or social media 
  • Proven experience of collaborating and training a self-employed field force
  • Strong relationship-building and social skills
  • Experience in motivating others
  • A “can do” attitude and loves to be challenged
  • Self-motivated, ability to work autonomously within minimal supervision
  • Understanding of the digital and social media 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet competing deadlines
  • Creative thinker with strategic vision, not afraid of thinking outside the box to achieve goals
  • High level business acumen and entrepreneurial drive
  • Exceptional face to face and telephone presentation skills
  • Public speaking experience a plus
  • Strong aptitude for cross-matrix management
  • Proficient in MS Office suite – namely Word, XLS, PPT.
  • Ideally used Abode Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign
  • Preferably degree qualified
