About the Company:
Our client is a leading energy retailer, providing services to both homes and businesses throughout Australia. They have become one of the leading power companies in Australia, and provide customers with an impeccable service. Sustainability is also important to this business and a big part of their culture.
Currently, they are looking for a Sales Account Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility for this role is to deliver gross margin and meet sales targets through the sales of energy contracts to existing large businesses.
- Build, manage and grow a portfolio of corporate gas accounts
- Develop and implement account plans, which accurately detail the client's future strategies
- Achieve positive retail margin targets
- Secure profitable gas supply agreements with customers
- Develop new business through brokers and Consultants, and direct customer prospecting
- Provide weekly sales reports as required
Experience & Skills:
- Degree qualified in Business, Commerce or equivalent
- At least 7 years experience in a Sales Management or Business Development role
- Experience in managing a portfolio of clients
- Experience in developing and executing strategic account plans
- Strong negotiating and influencing skills
- Self-motivated and achievement oriented
- Excellent time management skills
