Crest Personnel are working with a valued client to secure a Sales Engineer with a technical understanding of hose, spools, rubber lining, molded or mill lining rubber products with the mining and mineral processing industries. 

The role
This role will see you working within a small approachable and professional team for a national & international branded company. Reporting to the department lead your focus will be to technically engage and further develop operational mining clients across Western Australia.

Day to day your role will be to survey existing equipment, promote specialized and unique solutions towards the redesign of mill linings, service life; grind & power efficiency and ore characteristics, along with costumer circuit constraints.
You will be expected to have a good level of IT knowledge for reporting purposes, commercially astute and have an outgoing personality.
  
You
To be successful you will either be degree qualified or from a trade background with solid hands-on experience in mills and processing equipment; both on-site and office based.

Getting 'hands-on' as required will be needed in this role, as getting inside and dirty around primary and secondary mineral processing equipment is required.

Ideally a minimum of 3 years+  experience in a technical sales engineer role within the mineral processing industry/sand and gravel market;

Exposure to Hose, Spools, Rubber Lining, Moulded or Mill Lining Rubber products is required to be successful;

You will be a positive person who enjoys problem-solving whilst seeing the bigger picture. Working autonomously and being motivated is key to being successful;

Ideally you are currently based in WA, however, we will be considering relocation for the right person.

Travel
Travel will be required and we expect it to sit between 7 -10 days a month depending on what the business needs - flexibility is required.
