We are a dynamic, well established family business in the ACT Steel and Metal Industry. We are looking for a Customer Sales Officer to work in our close knit team at Fyshwick.
This position works as part of a sales team to deliver great DIY and Trade customer experiences through simple solutions and sound product knowledge.
The successful applicant will be a motivated salesperson to provide excellent customer service by ensuring customer's needs are met and often exceeded.
Keeping the store well stocked and presented in a professional and tidy manner at all times as customer and staff safety is paramount.
You will be required to respond to our customers face to face, over the phone and via the internet. We are looking for people with sound communication skills, who are hard working, honest and are prepared to "roll their sleeves up" to get the job done.
You will need good organisational skills and have a sound attention to detail. Most importantly, you will like people, sales and providing excellent service. A current drivers licence is essential and a forklift licence is an advantage.
Metal or steel industry would be an advantage, but we are willing to provide on the job training for the right person.
Positions will start as a full time position with a 6 month trial period.
