Are you a results driven sales professional that loves the sales game, & the buzz that comes from signing new business?

We are a rapidly growing commercial cleaning company with representation in VIC, NSW, QLD, SA & WA. Our business has been growing by 50% each year since inception. With our head office in Melbourne, we are looking for the right person to join our sales team in Queensland.

The ideal candidate would possess experience in the cleaning industry, have spent time dealing within the hospitality, child care, health & fitness or education industries. Whilst these are preferred, they are not essential as all support, training. mentoring and guidance will be provided. You must however come from or have a strong & proven record in face to face B2B sales.

All initial and on-going training will be provided to equip you with the skills needed to gain the opportunity to provide quotations, delivering and closing commercial cleaning proposals to potential clients and building a solid data base of future opportunities to cultivate. The majority of your leads will be self-generated under the guidance and direction of the National Sales Manager.

The main responsibilities of the role are listed below (Business Development):-

  • To identify new sales opportunities through a proactive approach towards prospecting & canvassing
  • Cold calling businesses predominantly in person
  • Targeting potential target group via provided database lists
  • Identify & participate in Tenders
  • Liaise with the National Sales Manager daily
  • Emailing out company introductions to potential new clients
  • Deliver all proposals personally or via email in a timely fashion
  • Following up all past proposals until an outcome is achieved

         The ideal candidate will have the following attributes: -

  • Cleaning Industry experience preferred (but not essential)
  • Having worked or be currently working in the hospitality field (Ideal)
  • Previous B2B Field Sales experience (essential)
  • Previous sales & cold calling experience (essential)
  • Highly developed verbal & written communication skills (essential)
  • Intermediate MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook) skills
  • Excellent organisational & record keeping skills
  • Confident communication skills and ability to ask for the business
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • A burning desire to succeed

In return the package available would comprise of the following: -

  • Attractive full time salary plus superannuation & commission (based on targets and KPI's)
  • $15,000 pa vehicle allowance or company vehicle
  • Mobile phone
  • Laptop

NOTE: This position is available for immediate start however we are prepared to discuss a future agreed start date should that suit the successful applicant's situation.
