The Position

We have an opening for a sales trainee with a view to taking on a sales and business development role in future. Full product training and market familiarisation will be provided. Further external sales training would be offered to the right person if required.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and assertive individual with good presentation and organisational skills to join a strong and growing business in western Sydney.

With our range of known and respected quality truck aerodynamic devices, we are in sales and service contact with dealers and end users daily. We also offer a range of LCV (light commercial vehicle) and van products.

New products are being added this year providing further sales opportunities to existing customers and new markets.

The successful candidate will need to build familiarity with the range and the market, learn to communicate and develop friendship and trust with salespeople, dealers and fleets across NSW.

The candidate will be responsible for internal sales, customer liaison, transport and logistics offering the fast reliable service that is expected from our brands.

The ultimate goal is to grow into a sales and business development role making regular customer calls and actively identifying new customers.

A friendly, knowledgeable attitude and efficient and accurate communication skills by text and email will prove vital to the success of this role.

 

The Location

Based in Sydney west, the applicant will initially have a primary focus internal phone and email sales enquiries.

Our territory is NSW with a primary focus on Sydney, Wollongong and Newcastle but with a view to expanding to cover regional hubs and eventually covering the NSW territory.

The Applicant

For a sales role, you must naturally be friendly, outgoing, resourceful, self-starting, motivated, positive and enthusiastic. Some good mathematical and technical thinking will be required to assist customers in product selection and to ensure correct product offering. 

A familiarity with transport or previous involvement in the motor industry would be an advantage. Willingness to learn about truck and van applications and an ability to communicate the benefits of our products to dealers and end users will be fundamental to your success. With training and confidence, you will gain the ability to identify, connect with and present to all levels of dealer, fleet and business owner to gain sales success.

The successful applicant will need to have an ability to absorb some technical information but above all exhibit general characteristics of honesty, openness, integrity, confidence, while maintaining the helpful, friendly and outgoing culture of the business.
