At General Pants Co, we inspire young blooded individuals not only through our product, but through our people. We are currently on the hunt for an awesome People & Culture Coordinator who is looking for a challenging and rewarding HR generalist opportunity.

With 50 + stores and up to 1000 crew members at any one time, the role of People & Culture Coordinator will be responsible for working with the HR team and liaising with stakeholders across the business to deliver people projects and generalist support. 

 

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Providing advice, support and coaching to the GPG crew on people issues and HR processes
  • Executing all HR related projects in line with strategic priorities and objectives
  • Support the development of a results focused culture through the GPG performance management process
  • Support our GPG training & development programs
  • Contribute to the development of the GPG learning platform
  • Support Talent Acquisition Partner in GPG Retail, Support Office and DC recruitment activity including recruitment strategy, advertising, interviewing, reference checking and onboarding
  • Provide administrative HR support & analytical information through the coordination of HR monthly reports
  • Management of WHS and Workers Compensation
  • Assisting with our Wellbeing and Corporate/Social Responsibility events 

 

You’ll ideally have:

  • At least 1 years experience in a similar role
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources
  • Experience and working knowledge of successful retailers
  • Sound computer skills –Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Proficient knowledge of IR/ER
  • A true representative of the GP Values
  • Ability to problem solve, think out of the box and work independently
  • Keen to push the boundaries and challenge the status quo to ensure we attract the best of the best candidates

Being results focused, comfortable under pressure and prepared to take ownership and 'go the extra mile' are also essential to success in our fast-paced, fun environment.
