Purpose of the role
As part of our Talent (HR) team, the Talent Development Administrator is responsible for supporting the development, promotion, and evaluation of successful learning and development activities at a local and national level. In addition to supporting the development of sophisticated talent management processes and imbedding a learning orientated culture at MinterEllison.
Job description
The primary responsibilities are outlined below and may change as the needs of the Firm change.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the national Talent Development team to deliver learning programs in Sydney and across MinterEllison
- Administration of various Talent Development projects and national programs including new starter on-boarding, graduate development program and other learning initiatives and making recommendations for continual improvement
- Managing program administration by liaising with external speakers, internal staff, booking venues, equipment and catering
- Recording attendance, generating and interpreting data from the Learning Management System
- Compiling feedback from learning activities and proactively providing feedback to the Talent Development team
- Ensuring compliance at the end of the CPD year within the firm
- Receiving, recording and processing invoices and expenses
- Coordinate and provide administrative support to the National Talent Development calendars
- Coordinate the Sydney On-boarding process and support and assist in the delivery as required
- Maintain effective communication with all team members and staff
- Other ad hoc administrative and coordinator duties as required
More about you
On your first day, we expect you to have:
- Office experience as an administrator/coordinator
- An appropriate tertiary qualification
- Understanding and interest in Learning and Development within a professional environment is desirable
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong stakeholder management, written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent problem solving skills and an ability to identify when to escalate problems
- A good understanding of information entry, storage and management
- The ability to deal with multiple projects and priorities
- A desire for continual process improvement and efficiencies
