Position Overview
Working in Kytec's Service and Support team, the Systems Engineer (Level 2) is responsible for providing 2nd level technical support and installation services to Kytec's clients, managing their requirements and the ongoing relationship. The position will require a high level of customer service as well as the ability to deliver technically and articulate clearly to the other team members.
Responsibilities
The Systems Engineer is responsible for:
- Provide proactive technical support services to external clients, in the main areas of Cisco Collaboration\Voice technologies, Cisco Security, virtualised platforms, routing and switching, and network wireless.
- Provide onsite installation and configuration services at client site whilst providing ongoing communication and advice to both client contacts and Kytec management.
- Perform Scheduled System Administration tasks.
- Ensure accurate documentation is maintained.
- Assist with client projects as needed.
Skills
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Intermediate networking skills and experience (CCNA/CCNP)
- Intermediate virtualisation skills and experience (VCP)
- Windows Server configuration and administration experience
- Have strong verbal & written communication skills
- Have strong attention to detail
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Driven to grow and develop
