As a Systems Engineer you will be a part of the IT Systems team, responsible for the IT Infrastructure, systems operations and any supporting development and implementation of those systems.
 
Your responsibilities

• Maintain a high performing and reliable network infrastructure both physical and wireless
• Manage backup and disaster recovery solution
• Manage Microsoft Office 365 and Azure Infrastructure
• Manage onsite data centre, including enterprise firewalls, storage, servers (ESXi), environmental monitoring systems and Identity Management System.
• Manage the Avaya IP Phone system, the provisioning of handsets and adjustment to software configuration when necessary.
• Provide expert advice and assistance to the support services team for escalated level 2/3 requests.
• Assist in the development of IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies.

 
Your skills

• Demonstrated experience in IT infrastructure planning and development.
• Demonstrated experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems.
• Demonstrated experience of computer network, data back-up / restoration and the technical management of servers.
• Demonstrated systems administration skills using cloud technologies.
• Preference will be given to candidates that hold certifications: MCSE / CCNA / VMware
