Our client, a government department, is seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst for a 12-month contract on a program of work involving digital technology solutions. As Senior Test Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting testing activities, coordinating UAT, creating test plans, executing test cases and follow the defect process in collaboration with Business Analysts, Developers and Testers.
This is an initial 12-month contract opportunity, paying up to $84/hour including super, based in Brisbane CBD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the implementation and execution of test plans according to business expectations.
- The ability to analyse technical and business requirements with strong experience in the development and execution of test cases.
- Ability to identify risks and/or issues and report to the appropriate teams members for resolution (including defects and fixes).
- Report on general progress of testing with recommended actions.
- Assist with/prepare testing reports as required.
- Liaise with the business analysts and subject matter experts to develop functional test cases for the purposes of user acceptance testing.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Experience and knowledge in testing through the various stages of the development life cycle.
- Experience in testing social enterprise management solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in documenting test plans, test cases, defects and test summary reports within a complex project environment.
- Demonstrated experience in using JIRA and TFS.
- Experience in performing system, system integration, functional, data migration, performance and regression testing activities of complex business applications, databases, interfaces and reports.
- Experience in using Microsoft Test Manager
- ISTQB or any testing related certification
- Degree in IT or Information Systems
