Your New Role

In your new role as a Senior Test Analyst, you’ll perform test analysis, test planning and preparation, test execution scheduling, oversee tester’s day to day activities and participate in defect triage.
    
Key Responsibilities:

• Work in strong collaboration with Business Analysts and Developers to understand the requirements, functional and interface design specification and perform test analysis
• Prepare test plan; test requirements traceability matrix; test cases; test data
• Create, maintain and track testing entry criteria as check point prior to starting test execution
• Delivery test execution walkthrough to Tester and oversee Tester’s day to day activities ensuring that the Testers are adhering to set testing guidelines and practices
• Undertake test execution activities as required
• Represent the Testing Team on defect triage calls and solicit input from relevant Tester 

About You

Apart from the usual well-developed verbal and written communication skills, high accuracy and attention to detail, strong organisational skills, ability to build relationships and work as part of a wider team, commitment, tenacity, resilience and the ability to stay calm under pressure, you’ll also be able to demonstrate:

• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent business experience
• +5 year’s IT or Business Testing industry experience
• +2 year’s Financial Services industry experience with exposure to Superannuation or Platform Services preferred
• Proven experience creating test plans, test requirements traceability matrix and test reporting
• Previous experience testing web and online systems, desktop install application, mobile application, ETL or within an ESB architecture environment
• Proficient in the use of source control, test management software and test automation tools
