Due to phenomenal growth, our client is now hiring an additional Senior Security Architect.
You will have experience with discussing, scoping, proposing, selling and delivering a range of projects for a range of clients from various industry verticals and will be a proficient security architect with expert knowledge of systems and/or networks and architectural frameworks and approaches.
Sales and Projects for the successful candidate may include solutions from any or all of the following vendors (in alphabetical order): Exposure to at least 4 of these essential.
Additionally previous experience in delivering successful security projects including initial client workshops to understand technical specifications and the creation of project deliverables such as High Level Designs, Detailed Level Designs, Implementation & Test Plans and As Built Documents. All solution engagements would have an assigned Project Manager to assist with the running of the project and client communications and may also have assigned Security Engineers and Analysts who can be allocated work packages as part of the overall project.
This is a challenging and dynamic hands-on presales and technical role which requires on-going personal development, technical accreditation and research to ensure this position remains abreast of current and emerging trends and technologies.

To be successful in securing an interview you will have:
- Expert knowledge in the areas of security architecture & security infrastructure
- Ability to review new and existing Information Technology projects for information security compliance by developing, documenting, and communicating adherence to architecture, blueprints, components, standards and strategies
- Provides technical information security consulting in multiplatform IT environments and provides subject matter expert advice as required by project teams
- Working within virtual project teams, particularly on larger projects, to define the security requirements of an application and determining an optimal design for subsequent development
- Strong business and risk analysis skills to drive security outcomes with both business and technical staff
- Consult across a wide variety of information security disciplines including infrastructure security, security solution design, risk management, web and application security
- Outstanding written and communication skills including experience with an executive audience
- Knowledge across a broad range of security disciplines and technologies
- Problem solving, critical thinking and time management abilities
- Working knowledge of international security and risk-related standards or frameworks, including SABSA, TOGAF, ISO-27000 series, CISSP, CISM, 4360
- Experience with technical writing and risk assessment preferred
