 My client who is a household name in Australia are looking for a Business Analyst on a fixed term basis due to an increase in projects and business growth. The initial term will be 6 months in duration but there is a chance of extension.
 
The requirement centres around the need for a strong conduit to work between IT and Business stakeholders to ensure IT solutions are built in line with business requirements.
 
The role involves: 

• Gathering and documenting robust business requirements including production of functional specifications
• Assisting in the solution design process
• Collaborating effectively with business stakeholders to ensure understanding of requirements
• Assisting with the full UAT process including test planning and scenario creation
• Working alongside IT on a Business Intelligence project and ensuring solution designs link well with BI Concepts

 Requirements of the candidate: 

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst working on IT projects (ideally Business Intelligence)
• Experience in Requirement Gathering and Documentation techniques
• Strong understanding of Technical Concepts and Solution Designs
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to influence stakeholders
• SQL Skills (highly desirable)
