We have an exciting opportunity commencing August 2018 in our Melbourne office looking for the very best Graduate Engineers/Developers to join us as we grow our technical testing practice. You will join our reputable team of high-performing technology professionals and experience accelerated career development with the support of our leadership team and Service Delivery Framework. We'll kick-start your career within I.T. with our 2-year Graduate Testers Training Program and set you off on a rewarding career path in consulting. The intake for this role will be commencing in July/August 2018.

About yourself

Preferably you will have done some technical work commercially as a tester or developer, and are looking for your first full time challenge, we’re also happy consider high performing direct university graduates, who have completed relevant studies who’ve achieved strong final results.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with different cultures, If you have the aptitude for learning and are technically inclined, we will make sure, we teach you the testing skills to complete the tasks.

We want you to:

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree/Masters in Information Technology/Engineering with emphasis on scripting/programming modules or equivalent experience.
• Passion for coding and problem solving (e.g. C#, Java, Ruby, Cucumber etc).
• Understanding of DevOps methodologies, practices & principles and CI/CD or Automation.
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
• Enthusiastic, proactive and strong team player
• Highly organised with very good attention to detail
• Curious – we want people who are inquisitive, and have a real hunger to learn.

What we’d like:

• Java, Node.js, Angular.js, React, C#, C++, Python, Bash, PowerShell or similar languages
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Understanding of API's
• Agile / Scrum development processes
• Knowledge of AWS/Azure/GCP - CloudFormation, VPC, ELB, EBS, Auto Scaling, Lambda etc.
• Experience with Windows and Linux
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools Jenkins/Go.CD/Octopus/Xebia
• Knowledge of version control within development and testing
• Understanding of source control, security and repositories
• Understanding of non-functional testing
