Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is energetic, proactive and understands the importance of delivering an excellent experience for our doctors.  Your role will oversee the effective recruitment, retention and ongoing engagement and compliance of our doctors who deliver care to patients in the afterhours.  

 

What will you be doing?

This position is responsible for building an engaged and motivated doctor workforce whilst also ensuring that the doctors meet the expectations of our service agreement with them. This encompasses the end-to-end life cycle of a doctor with NHDS, from initial interest, recruitment, on-boarding and induction through to ongoing engagement, communications, events and maintaining connections with our alumni.

This is a pivotal role with significant engagement with our doctors.

Specific areas of responsibility include:

  • Managing doctor recruitment events, on-boarding and induction.
  • Driving local doctor engagement strategies.
  • Managing doctor communications including liaising with operational and marketing teams.
  • Maintaining accurate CRM information.
  • Assisting in workforce planning.
  • Assisting in ensuring doctor compliance with company and industry requirements.

What knowledge, skills and attributes do you need to have?

  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and may include recruitment, human resources, event management, learning and development
  • Experience in healthcare and working with doctors or health professionals (ideal but not essential)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with flexibility to work across a variety of situations and individuals
  • Ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines
  • Attention to detail, with time management and planning skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility to work additional hours if required, for example, attending a doctor engagement event
  • Integrity and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
