Job tasks and responsibilities
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Industrial Office Team Leader. Reporting to the Commercial Director the principal responsibilities will be to lead the Customer Service Team in ensuring sales orders are received, processed and communicated to the main stakeholders including supply chain partners such as third party warehouse, logistical service providers and the commercial sales team.
Additional responsibilities will include:
- Regular liaison with our customs clearance partners in coordinating incoming and outgoing product shipments and general administrative & financial duties associated with the role.
- Responsible for the timely and efficient processing of all sales orders required or as applicable.
- Execute RFQ programs for the supply of logistical & warehousing (CRC) Services, including the implementation of SLA's to ensure the cost effective delivery of externally contracted services.
- Use of our internal systems (i.e. SUN, SLX) and other tools and systems used in the role (i.e. external warehouse inventory/ stock management systems etc).
- Provide assistance & support to the Commercial Director, National Sales Manager, Financial Accountant and the wider sales force in relation to customer management and other activities.
Skills and experience
- Australian Drivers License
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar customer service position
- Demonstrated capabilities with office team management
- Previous experience in a similar customer service & supply chain environment is preferred
- Demonstrated high level logistical management experience
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Attention to detail, high level of commitment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Fluent English is essential
