Murray Mallee Training Company are now looking to hire the services of a motivated and career driven business administration trainee who is able to display a passion for working with a business that is focussed on emergency services in Mildura.

This Indigenous Identified Position is a Full Time 12 month contract.

You will be working alongside experienced administration staff who will develop and enhance your administration skills. The environment is team focussed and you will be guided all the way through your traineeship.

Throughout the duration of your employment you will be a valued member of the Murray Mallee team. We will assist you in every way throughout your employment journey. Upon the successful completion of your traineeship you will be rewarded with a Certificate III in Business Administration. Along the way you will feel fulfilment by contributing to an important community service.

Key responsibilities include;

  • Use of the Microsoft suite applications
  • General filing
  • Data entry activities and development of spreadsheets
  • Upkeep of records
  • Answering phones and assisting with queries
  • Part of your traineeship is to meet deadlines when completing course modules and bookwork

To be considered as a suitable candidate you will need the following;

  • Be able to work fulltime Monday to Friday
  • Basic computer skills
  • Have a helpful and courteous manner along with excellent communication skills
  • Always be well presented
  • Be able to work efficiently and have a focus on maintaining service quality.
  • Be able to work both independently and as part of a team

Drivers licence is not essential. There will be occasional travel required

The position will commence early August and the successful applicant will be employed by Murray Mallee Training Company and hosted to a local community based organisation in Mildura.
