CentacareCQ has an opportunity for a full-time Service Scheduling Officer to join their dedicated Client Experience Team in Rockhampton (Maternity Leave Cover 12 month contract).

This position oversee the effective scheduling of Community Care Services in a specific region. This involves ensuring services are delivered efficiently and rosters are published inline with award requirements. A key element of this role includes reviewing roster exceptions on a daily basis to ensure services are reported accurately for billing and reporting purposes.

Duties include:

Coordinate Community Care Services

  • Ensure rosters are published for individual support workers three weeks in advance;
  • Distribute daily transport schedule;
  • Ensure master rosters for services in each service area are established;
  • Resolve conflicts and unallocated services within roster;
  • On call work to support out-of-hours staff;
  • Undertake travel to a range of CentacareCQsites on a regular basis.

Verify services delivered by CentacareCQ staff

  • Confirm services delivered in iCareHealth (Services with exception);
  • Confirm other services within client information systems.

Ensure services are delivered effectively and efficiently

  • Assist in rearranging services due to staff planned and unplanned leave;
  • Maintain consistent master rosters with services scheduled completed for all care plans;
  • Integrate new services into the master roster and adjust for changes to existing services;
  • Liaise with clients and case managers around any alterations to the master roster.

Implement changes to rosters due to staff changesCR

  • Adjust roster to reflect planned leave;
  • Update roster to reflect changes to staff ;
  • Assist with rearranging services due to staff absences.

Please note: The successful candidate will be required to participate in an Australian Federal Police check and a Working with children check, prior to confirmation of appointment to the position.

The successful candidate will also be required to demonstrate entitlement to work in Australia, and to disclose any pre-existing injury or disease which may be adversely affected by undertaking the inherent requirements of the position.
